why irked?

i’ve got thoughts. lots of ‘em. most of my more intriguing ones, though, are reactions to the antics of evangelicals, conservative idealogues, and pontificating high-profile types who are disconnected from the reality in which i live. i don’t claim my reality is your reality — because that would be quite officious of me, wouldn’t it? bottm line, though, is nothing gets me going like those with celebrity status — of any kind — who in some way decree that any beliefs or behaviors that deviate from their ideal should be discouraged or demonized.
